Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing new business opportunities on Upwork and Fiverr. This role involves understanding client needs, proposing tailored software solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities on Upwork and Fiverr.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and engage clients on these platforms.
- Client Acquisition:
- Create and maintain an attractive and professional profile on Upwork and Fiverr.
- Proactively bid on relevant projects, craft compelling proposals, and negotiate terms with potential clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide customized software solutions.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by securing new projects and generating revenue through Upwork and Fiverr.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize success.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery, from initiation to completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Client Retention and Relationship Management:
- Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Collect feedback from clients to improve service quality and client satisfaction.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress.
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the software industry.
- Strong understanding of Upwork and Fiverr platforms, including best practices for bidding, proposal writing, and client communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with software development processes and technologies is a plus.
